| Noob Yeah I hear you..............but you are missing the point. The Hobie hulls are not permanently attached to the Dory I can remove the Dory in two min (4 bungie) and go by oars up a small river. Yes I have a 28' alum. mast. 28' up in the sky.........28'.........28' It's a piece of "brain damaged thinking, Cain't go under the bridges or overhanging trees. The sail costs a kings ransom. It must be taken down for road travel. It's a two man set up & take down etc. etc. My sail is 150 sq. ft. it cost me $50.00 and I made it ! The "A" mast is 9' tall etc. etc.. Sure there are a number of boats I can bulid...............but none of them does what this does Keep the juices flowing |
