Designing the next canal boat...

Can anyone give me any information about canal boating, past experiences and such. I am presently studying in my final year at university and wanted to know about relative interest in canal boats, the pros and cons.. Thank you,
olley

Do you mean narrow boats ? Canals vary considerably around the world. The English canals have special requirements due to the diminutive width. If you want info on the English canals Google search for "Canal Junction" and read all the info therein.
