Design to fit a mold??

Hi All. Im looking into buying a mold for a large motor yacht. Only thing is, the plans are not available. Is it possible to create a set of plans to fit the mold, if a designer is given some specs on the mold and some rough specs on the boat that once upon a time was built inside this mold??

Thanks!!

Yes, it is the same process as taking the lines off a hull.

Scanning

You can scan the mold. You can find a company that can do the job for you.
