What are your thoughts, experience and opinions of mounting a depth sounder’s (fish finder’s) transducer on the inside of an aluminum hull?(0.125 inch) Do some types work better than others? Is there a difference in styles, frequencies, are some built for it and others not, etc. etc.---Thank You

Any fishfinder should work fine through an aluminum hull. You just have to be sure to make good solid contact between the transducer face and the hull. If it's a flat surface, pressing the transducer into a bit of silicone will work. If it's curved, scuff the surface and make a flat with epoxy first.
