| Depth sounders What are your thoughts, experience and opinions of mounting a depth sounder’s (fish finder’s) transducer on the inside of an aluminum hull?(0.125 inch) Do some types work better than others? Is there a difference in styles, frequencies, are some built for it and others not, etc. etc.---Thank You |

| Any fishfinder should work fine through an aluminum hull. You just have to be sure to make good solid contact between the transducer face and the hull. If it's a flat surface, pressing the transducer into a bit of silicone will work. If it's curved, scuff the surface and make a flat with epoxy first.
