Just because I am a contrary bastard, I will argue that the Model A was only 'good' because there were no other options! Its a bit like saying that black and white TV was good when thats all there was - but who would go back to those sets!

I know they were stinky, unreliable and black, but a better idea than walking.
Is that Good? :-)

Both are right. The point is, they were there, ready to fill a niche. If someone was telling you how "horseless carriages" were the next big thing.... by god, you could just go buy one!

I didn't read all 52 pages I admit, but why no photos? Just palaver & line drawings. Interesting non the less.
