| Chain might have been slightly heavier, but not much and it was the only gear we had to hand, I'm going from an old memory but it was definitely 20mm line and I could carry the anchor by myself - very very light gear, as I said earlier perfect conditions and daylight only. The reason for such light gear was we did not want to lose the primary anchor and chain due to snagging or the windlass not being able to recover the primary gear from such a depth. |
