I was wondering whether anyone had any ideas as to where to gain a copy of Daniel Savitsky's 1964 textbook on Marine Technology.
I have searched using Google with no luck or direction. Does anyone have know at all?

    The Reference is:
Savitsky, Daniel : "Hydrodynamic design of planing hulls", Marine Technology, Vol. 1, No.1, 1964.

    Thanks

    James

I sure it was only an article in the SNAME Journal,

    Marine Technology, Vol. 1, No.1, 1964, pages 71 - 95.

    Was it ever published elsewhere?

Write to www.sname.org. You should be able to buy a copy from the SNAME archives. This was a seminal paper, and I would be surprised if they don't have it.

Why don't you try Dan Savitsky? He can be contacted through the Stevens Institue in Hoboken NJ. 201-216-5307 or Fax 201-216-8214. Say hello for me.
