"FOR CREATURE COMFORTS SAKE"!!!!!

I was flipping through my new issue of PMM last night and yep there they are again. I can't get over the new up-start ads plastering the back of that mag. Not the ads themselves but the vessels that are entering the market.
I just dont feel some of these guys get it......It bothers me to see these condo's over jon-boat designs being sold to somebody taking $800K of there life savings under the guise of "world cruiser" or "fast trawler" Some of these things I wouldent cross a river in flat water let alone an ocean! Hu-gantic supers on the smallest hull they can get the numbers to skew to just seems un-ethical to me.
Take a few minutes to compare the old timers...Krogen, Delta, Grand banks,
Flemming, Nordic-tug and the like I'll even throw Nordhavn in there.
these guys have it down in my opinion! Meaning they have not let the demand for BIG everything get in the way of sound design practices.
"7 million pounds of lead doesent make it right"
Ok I'm done now
