Corrosion

Hi there,
We are trying to develop a new , Voltage flexible, low/high power battery bank and love to know what your experience is with oxidation/corrosion on the batterypacks in laptops, small electrical appliances using any kind of battery, used on the sea.

I experienced very little problem with my laptop on the water, but kept it always in the proper carrying case after use. I had sometimes problems with the remote control for the TV, whereby certain "AA" type batteries seems to make bad contact after a while. I had to "roll" it a few times and then it worked again.

What is your experience? Also with your normal batteries.
Bert
