commercial river boat discution

Dir All,

I want to open a discution about the pusher,barge etc... in fact river boat. I worked long time for marine enginnering ship and now since 1year and half i'm working for this kind of ship. With big surprise it's very hard to find publication,data base etc...And it's very complex ship due to the shallow water and river width and the convoy with pusher and barge. For the speed prediction for example, i worked in hydro dep for big ship but on these kind of ship we can't not use the holtrop, etc... formulation so .....
I think that is an interesting matter and this matter has a place on a boat design forum
