Collaborative Mini-Project

Ok, the reason this is a "mini" project is because this is a small(ish) boat. Now, to begin, the idea I had for this project was to create a yacht tender that can also serve as, for those of us without yachts, an affordable, safe and easily trailered and stored boat for cruising around harbors/lakes/bays etc. Below are requirements. Once a few designs are posted to this thread, I'll open another thread for voting on the best few.

Minimum Length: 14' (May be slightly shorter)
Maximum Length: 18' (May be slightly longer)
Stability: Must have a CSF = Beam/(Disp/64.2)1/3 that is less than 2 (I believe that this is a reasonable amount)
Cabin: None required, but a cuddy is permissible
Type of hull: Must be rigid, rigid hull inflatables are acceptable as are RIB styled fully rigid vessels, monohulls and multihulls are both permitted.
Capacity: No less than 2 person capacity, weight per person 180 lbs each, children count as .5 persons and weigh 90 lbs for all project purposes
Hull Material: Aluminum, steel or fiberglass (May have hypalon or neoprene inflatable tubes)

Please attach line drawings, profile view and top view.

The procedure is listed below:

1. Ideas and pictures are posted to this thread.
2. Another thread is created for purpose of choosing best design
3. Thread regarding best design is created.
4. People post additions/ideas on Additions/Ideas thread.
5. Additions that recieve the best response are added to original design by designer, who DOES have final say on what goes in his/her design.
6. The designer posts full plans on this site.

Don't edit them because of what I said- I'm only one person and perhaps others feel differently.
Unless ,of course, you've thought about it some more and reached the same conclusion....

I have designed an inflatable and called it a T-Cat.
Similar boats are raced in UK, South Africa, Australia.
The racing web site is called www.thundercatracing.co.nz
My boat is only 12ft 6inches long and 8ft wide weight 165lbs
and is powered by a Yamaha 50hp short shaft out-board.
Speed 50mph runs very nicely with two adults but could take a third.
The out-board size is optional 15hp to 50hp
The boat folds and packs up to a size of 48inches x 12inches x 63inches
excluding the motor.
The boat is designed with each component weighing about 40lbs so easy to
assemble.
Can be used for diving, fishing, skiing, tender etc.
At this point in time I am in the process of testing.

Nice looking boat. Just wondering, would you try having a rigid hull but inflatable sponsons?

Any other ideas? Feel free to post them!

Tender14

Something like this perhaps? welded Aluminum or ply/epoxy, 400 lbs crew, 250 lbs supplies, 770 lbs all up weight 7.5" draft with 12 " of freeboard. 14' long, beam of 56" leeboard or daggerboard, sprit or lug rig for simplicity ( about 65 sq ft) Row, Sail or small (2.5 hp) motor.
