| Cockpit hatch I'm rebuilding the cockpit floor in a 31' sedan I recently bought. It had been neglected and most of the supports were rotted or missing. I have the support structure all planned and the materials ready for the sole. The total area is 10'x6'. I need to install a hatch in the middle. My question. How do I seal the floor around the Hatch which will be 2'x4' ? I have noticed on newer fiberglass boats they use an aluminum channel around the hatch so the water runs aft and then overboard. Using marine plywood I'm not sure. Thanks |
