The main challenge and main victory was to find legal page on Alibaba!
Will do that on some our designs, they are still there... Our company is also 'advertising' there but we have never put it!

Story is MicroSoft would tell companies they interested in acquiring them, they just have a few questions...then communication would stop, and these companies would see a version of what they invented in a MicroSoft program.

Guess who is the biggest objector to Chinese and other "piracy"? Yep, the very same MicroSoft that built itself on "stolen" material.

The moral of the story is "If you gave it to them, they CANNOT be said to have stolen it", at least not legally.


Send the Chinese boatyard a letter warning of some problems with the design you just discovered in testing, but couch it made-up highly technical terms and all sorts of wave and fluid theory...but that you would be open to a consulting relationship, cash in advance.

I believe that was how Mark Twain made most of his money, and I believe it was the various venues hiring him as a draw and selling food and beverages...mostly beverages.

I'd also expect that widely read authors would be paid to lace their novels with political or commercial messages...like they aren't already.

Some popular writer was supposedly paid to promote California real estate during the 1930s-50s, but I forget his name.

Patents only keep the honest people honest. What legal system would reach into China's borders anyway even if one could afford it? We can hardly stop counterfeits even at our own borders.
