chandlery Weight database

Hello everybody,
Does anyone know a database where I can find estimated equipments, rig and machinery weight, in order to do a preliminary weight and CG study before getting into the detailed specs of the boat.

Thanks

Sorry, What I meant was a database listing all parts WEIGHT.
weight of engine, weight of mast, weight of sail.

I know that I will find it on each manufacturers website, but what I want to know is if there is a list of average weight per engine size, per mast size, per sails size etc... in order to do a quicker preliminary weight analisis.
Thanks

YS,

Sounds like that approach would create more problems than it would solve.

But then again, I might be wrong.

Time was, the best place for this was the printed catalogues put out by such folks as West Marine and Defender. Maybe their websites are as good?

I sometimes use Westmarine's web site (though I still prefer the chunky catalogue..). Be aware though that the weights quoted are shipping weights, so include packaging. Generally I use them as is, for preliminary work (coz everything always winds up heavier...!)
