Cat Rig for Cat

Hello

Would there be an advantage to have a CAT rig on a 40'+ catamaran?? I am thinking for example of the Tantons or the Non Such designs, but than for a catamaran.

Wouldn't that be of an advantage to a single handed cruising sailor??

Thanks
