Here's a cool looking schooner, in San Diego (Californian). It's the museum's boat.

Is anyone a fan of the Bowdoin? She's pretty famous, and is based on the east coast in Maine (Castine). I always thought she was pretty.

Don't know how grand this will be shrunk to 39 x 7.5 from the origonal 46x10, but I'm planning on an aluminum one to fit in a shipping container.

Turns out these things are waterproof in both directions. Gonna use the engine exhaust for the hot water AND the bubbles. Yep, I'm a thinker.

They sure can, hoping to go on her for at least an atlantic crossing sometime in the next 5-7 years.

"Can anyone find a more beautiful boat?" should have answered before that i really do like the CR props, they level out at bout 40 knts tho and wonder if a canopy makes much sense than? no mufflers at all i understand? i'm not racing but it looks great! you said its a lovely boat and the most fun out on the water, and you know what your talking bout with that mean looking bladerunner in the background. beeing asked about a beautifull boat and wondering away, personally think i rather than see a bigger faster boat with surface drives, deep V something like a formula, cigarette or a special like miss sweden on 2 1600hp diesel turbines, a canopy and small fwd cabin. nah, i know i rather have a bigger cabin, than again i cant even fill up my own 150 gallaon tank at 1.50 € the litre... thinking of a perfect cruiser with speed and space, range and economy i drew a modern powersailor that now also looks the most expensive but see some have even more expensive dreams

 

yipster, a bit off topic, but after taking a look at the images of your Miss Sweden design, I had a cool idea. Ferrari's 2004 Superamerica implented some technology for the first time in the automotive industry on its retractable glass roof. It's called electrochromatic glass. The glass is suspended with liquid crystals, like and LCD screen, and with the turn of a dial, the operator and can change the glass from clear to a infinately variable level of tint. I have not seen it used in the marine industry, but I definately think that design would be an especially good candidate for it.
