| calculate LCB using Simpson's rule hi I was jst wondering if anyone here knew how to calculate the LCB of a vessel using simpson's rule. I have the longitudal lever information but I don't know what I do with it. Do I just use the levers as the points in simpson's rule or do I have to do anything else with them before i can calculate the LCB. Your help would be much appreciated. |

| Zap me an Email and I will send you a Lotus/Excell spreadsheet program I wrote during the 80's which I used (and still uses) for calculating the following; Displacement, LCB, VCB, Cp, CWP, Immersion, Moment to trim, CF. All this is based on Simpsons multipliers (shown on sheets with formulas) and you just have to add the relevant data required....... jmwnortje@lantic.net

| Wynand, How has it been going since we last spoke? Can you send me a copy of the spreadsheet also? I am interested in seeing how you arranged it. Thanks, Bob |
