| buoyancy assesment Hi, I am currently designing a 8.9m racer cruiser. We had the intention to make it unsinkable. Therefore we wanted to had buoyancy foam. I have just readen in couple of forums that the buoyancy assesment could be done anymore since the new ISO 12217 appears. In fact this rule should say that no boat built after 1995 (i think) could be considered as unsinkable. Then should i keep my buoyancy foam??? rating gain...? Does anyone know about it, and could give a proof of it, and/or explanation. Thank you |
