| Bulbous bow Hello again, What are the common methods for calculating the size of a bulbous bow for a vessel? currently looking at 260ft/48ft/750tons/8knts economical/12knts top. I've also noticed several different types of them:    What kind of benifits do the sculpted flowing type have over the round circular ones? Any at all? How do you design them to be efficiant at specific speeds? Thanks, Jake  |
