i am new here so this may be in the wrong section

me and my friends are planning on building a pontoon boat for use on higgins lake in michigan. we are planning on spending a total of $1000 on the project

so far this is our plan:
start with a 1989 24 foot pontoon with a running 35hp johnson outboard engine that we can get for $500

we are going to strip everything off exept the pontoons and engine

replace the floor with a pine hardwood floor (like in a house) this is free

instead of the metal rail and canopy we are going to build a raised deck out of weather treated lumber so we have an elevated diving platform $200

make custom seats out of pine plywood, foam, and tan vynl $100-200

add 3-4 removable hammoks and mounts for them for sleeping purposes $150

small charcol grill for use in cooking or as a small bonfire pit $20

    does this all sound feasable?

does anyone have any better ideas?

this will be our first boat building project
