Good question : this is the bow (forward block) of a light corvette, under completion by now in CMN where I'm spending my days (nights are for myself and SVDesign).
The curious hole in the middle is the bow thruster tunnel, and the 'V' is the hard chine. It is built up-side-down, then turned upright and moved to the assembly hall.

The upper "fuselage" and canopy contours on that first design look a lot like a Lockheed P-80.
