bowthruster

Hi there,

we are refitting an old sailboat 18.6m long, displ. 27 tons with a long keel.
We would like to install a bowthruster and found interesting products of the companys lewmar, max power and side power. has anybody experiences with retracting bowthrusters of them ? Or any other options ?

- My second question is , does anybody has an idea or examples how much speed a tunnel bowthruster can cost during sailing ?

Thanx ,

Max
