Bow thruster thru hull

I am installing a new thru hull for the laundry, bow thruster emergency bilge pump. Exit would be on top of aluminum bow tunnel about 6 inches from outside of tunnel on one side. Tunnel sits about 1 foot below water at rest but quickly is free from water at almost any speed. Obviously I would put a seacock to close it on under regular running or away. Are there any problems that I am not forseening with this idea. It is so easy drill and hole here and it won't stain my paint if it dribbles.

There would be no problems doing that other than physically drilling the holes etc.

Structurally you do not drill tops or bottoms of beams, but the tunnel is not used as a structural beam, it is simply a tube installed either during or after manufacture, it has no real strength use, other than doing what it does.

I have never seen or heard of this being done before, it is a very good question. I like the idea, one less hole through the hull as such.
