Boat plans for self design

If you like the "Tanton 38" why not build that one? Most designers will let you do minor changes if you ask.

The Tanton I believe is a production boat, and they generally don't sell plans for production boats.

Tanton has another design, #824, listed as a stock plan (~700USD)

Some designers that may have boats with a simmilar "look and feel" may be Ted Brewer, Casten Marine, or Jay Benford (http://www.benford.us/index.html?lists.html)
