Boat for HARD conditions

Hello,your ship is just like a variant of yachts, but that's a good idea, I would like to ask you, what software do you use to design the ship? 3D or any other software? ?And inorder to make your boat to be an ice-breaking one, I think the bow should be made a little sharper and the stern platform shoulde be raised, or it will be submerged under the water.

I used 3d max, it is good way to make fast draft models. Before it i made many scetches.

1. Do you mean "ON" or "OVER" or "THROUGH"?

2. That's a shallow draft, surface prop near ice? I'm no expert, but that might be a problem. Perhaps some type of protective duct should be considered.

3. Sounds like a good shallow river hull. Rough seas may require you to ballast the craft down for stability, this may help keep you upright, then again I'm not expert.

4. If breaking ice an operable the bow becomes a problem as it will take a lot of abuse and forces. Just about anything can be solved by shoveling money and time at a problem, good luck.................The stern detachable? I guess that rules out surface props, which indicates a deeper draft and requires deeper water in which you can operate.

5. Range is a good question/topic. I also think that having extra food provisions and spare or extra fuel is a must should you ever get stuck in the ice. Just something to consider.

I think I would like to know first your estimatives on lightship and loaded conditions, stability, transverse accelerations, intended propulsors, behaviour in waves under speed, etc., before going any further.

So, I made it! My diploma work is finished. Let me introduce my boat to you, my dear friends.... I want to say thank you for all for advises even if I did not show them on my board, it is of time insufficient.
I understand, that project is not complete but it was a task for design and stylish for 3 months.
