| thanks arty,,,,,,,,I saw a giant outboard on a police boat at lake erie,,,it looked about 8 ft high and had a prop about 2 ft ,I didnt know if it was gas or diesle,and I have a small debate with the guys at work ,,pro bass fishers,,,,thanks again ,,longliner |

| There are many barges fitted with DD 8v71 and a leg that lowers into the water, outboard style,Does that Qualify as an outboard? The diesel is bolted to the deck, and uses a radiator to cool . Not fast , but think of the bollard pull! FF |
