| We can probably help in your build up whether as a modified ORCA or an exact replica. We've been in the ORCA R&D business for about 10 years now and have the most extensive understanding of this boat anywhere on the net. We also have as a consultant on our team some of the original art crew that worked on ORCA during the production of the film. Please feel free to drop me an email at oporca@yahoo.com so we can discuss what you have in mind, and how you might like to make your dream boat come true. Incidently that miniature is a nice one but not an exact reproduction as there really are no precise plans available out there. We currently have an auction running to help raise funds for our project so you get an idea about what the boat might look like: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...m=180199001348 |

| Eh sharkhunter_dow, sot sure why you're after this boat... if you saw the movie shouldn't you rather look for something you don't have to DIE in ?? Personally I think catching the sharks with drums suck. What happened to measuring your guts and power with that of the fish... I'm sure there's rods and reels to stand up to those mothers you're after.

| Unless he encounters a 25 ft+ sharky I doubt he'll need the barrels anyways. ![]()

| What was it the one shark said to the others as they approach the divers ? They're quite nice snacks, just mind those things on their backs... they make you fart.

| I love shark fishing and find them quite delicious. Of course, the most tastey are 3' to 4' blacktips and I hunt them in a 15' Maverick flats boat. If I were going to sea for biguns and had a limited budget, my boat would look exactly like this: http://www.keywestcharterboats.com/forsale.htm Tested engines, tested boat and design, etc. If Jaws tried to bite the transom off this sucker, he'd run up a serious dentist bill.
