| Beam dimension Hi Guys, I've noticed that the beam dimension of 2.59 meters or 8'6" seems to be a popular size on trailerable boats. Is this just a coincidence or is there a reason like legal towing widths or something of that nature? Cheers Splint |

| Thanks Guys, yeah, taking a closer look the 2.59m Beam is very much a USA thing. Here in Australia the limit is 2.50m so most boats here are at or approaching that width. Thanks Splint |
