bead and cove stripplanking

Is onyone can advice me about the choose of the radius knowing the width of the strips for bead and cove stripplanking ?

Is these another way to do which is more efficient, rapid and resin useless ?

It is not critical. 19mm strips usuallly get a 25mm radius. It should be somewhat larger than the thickness.

The iconoclastic Tom MacNaughton has another view. He suggests using square strips without cove & bead. The 'v' between strips gets filled with epoxy, preventing glue starvation in the joint.

I usually plank with square edged strips on larger boats too. However, for very thin planking (5-6mm) , square edges don't work.
