| Bavaria 38 - Keel bolts and GRP Laminat Is the use of plain washers without backing plates for the keel bolts sufficient? Ever heard about a chop strand mat not penetrated by resin to serve as "barrier layer" against osmosis? For more details visit my Website and all its Links which is still under construction: http://brunohamm.googlepages.com/home |

The only problem I know happened with the Match line (cruiser-racers) and only with a particular model, the 42. When that happened I contacted Bavaria and they told me that the keel of the cruising line was much stronger and that they, in many thousands of boats, had not experienced any problem. |
