Barge Displacement

WHAT IS THE SIMPLE FORMULA TO FIGURE DISPLACEMENT. A BARGE 295 FT LONG BY 52 FEET WIDE WITH A LOADED DRAFT OF 3000 TONS DISPALCES 140,715 CU. FT. OF WATER. WHAT IS THE WEIGHT OF THE BARGE WITHOUT ITS 3000 TON CARGO? cOULD YOU CARRY MORE CARGO IN AN ALUMINUM BARGE... HOW ABOUT A "CONCRETE " BARGE THAT WEIGHED APPROXIMATELY 2,000,000 POUNDS?????

1. 1,502 tons in Salt Water, 1,390 tons in Fresh water. Assuming a ton at 2000 lbs since you're in Missouri
2. Maybe...
3. No - on both counts. (i.e. "Please, No")
