| ballast free bulker im a naval arch student currently doing a project regarding a preliminary design of ballast free bulker of 38,000t dwt.(the ballast free concept is under research in the Michigan university,inlet port at the bow and discharge at the stern through trunks running under the cargo holds through out the length) 1.can anyone guide me how about to have double bottom arrangements for the trunking 2.typical midship arrangements with the longitudinals etc etc this is only a study based project and the reasons to introduce new concepts have to be backed with good reasons. |
