Australian builders?

I have a new boat on the boad, and would like some opinions on who would be the best yard/company to build it.
It is a 22ft powerboat.
Any and all suggestions would be appreciated, east and west coast considered as well as tasmania.

Time.

I know a lot of Aussie builders but need to know a bit more about your boat so that I can recommend someone. Primarily Material, however more about engine type (inboard/ outboard etc) would also help.

Google is limited in it's usefulness. Buy asking here I had hoped to get opinions from people who have used builders in AUS

Your best search is via the net or Yellow and White Pages.

As I mentioned to him the other day in a PM, the problem Time is facing is that there are very few builders in Aus building small custom composite power boats. Most the custom builders I know either do sailing boats or aluminium boats. There will be some one out there, but you could cold call a lot of people first. I'm trying Time, I just need time.

Would you consider NZ?

What about McConaghy's in Mona Vale NSW I know that they do composite racing yachts maybe you should try them if they can build it for you if not maybe they might know someone that can.

You could also try Blunts in Williamstown or the other wooden boat builder in Sorrento the name escapes now he also builds couta boats as well.

I can't be stuffed looking up phone numbers. Try these guys:

Allan Tongs (Auckland)
Peter Parvin, Qualicraft (Matakana)
Davie Norris, Christchurch (does mainly sailing boats)
Dave Pachoud (Tauranga), does mainly power cats but there is no harm in asking.

Note. ff there are any Aussie boat builders reading this who are looking for this type of work please contact me for my records.
