| Valgerda is indeed a lovely boat. My guess is that it would not be overly dificult to build and sailing a "character" boat such as this would surely be a joy. The plans were also published in a hardcover book of Rudder plans. That book is in my library but is now surely out of print. If you like I will see if there is an ISBN number in the book. Of course there are many other plans in the book as well. Some by Atkin, Gardner, Crosby, et al. If available it will make a nice, if old, addition to your library. |

| Atkin Valgerda Hello Messabout , There is something about those lines . All Faerings and their types have them , just so graceful and timeless. Getting info is a little difficult but worth the digging . I think that if I do a nice job of this one , there is a good chance that a boat like this may just be looked after and enjoyed long after I`m gone . |
