another stupid question.... hull number

where is this hull number loacated? i have a 73 pontoon and dont know wherer to look for it!! thanks guys!

There should be 1 on the aft starboard area, usually on the transom or a plate there abouts. Another is mounted in a non obvious place, like under a deck or inside a locker (all of this is proviso it is a commercially built boat). The plate should be stamped with the HIN and riveted onto the boat.
