Anchoring tackle

Good afternoon to all,

I am looking for comprehensive designing data for an electric windlass onboard a sailing 35 footer.

Before all, I must indicate a very much interesting thread with A.FRAYSSE's "Tuning an anchor rode" comprehensive article about the rode itself: http://alain.fraysse.free.fr/sail/ro...ces/forces.htm

So my purpose is to focus on the available literature about windlass proper sizing, not simply "strong won't fail" method.

My recent visit to different Internet manufacturers addresses did produce some contradictory information.

Thank you in advance for your contribution.

Fair winds and smooth seas to all.

Patrick
