The one the OP had a picture of. Looks like a fascinating design, but I noticed the image was CGI'd. Wondering if the real ones are in the water yet.

There was supposed to be a build up thread of a 19 or a 22 on THT, but it looks like all the pictures disappeared.

The pictures disappeard from THT because someone in the peanut gallery said something that pushed him away from public posting. Just join the CB site and click on the Builder's Forum. They are all there. Thanks for the interest. ================== www.cb-boatworks.com

Marc, took a look at the pics and was impressed. I'd still like to see info on an inboard version when you get around to it. Inboard with a slight tunnel if thats possible. A skeg design would be great too.

I can surely help make the boat of your dreams come true. It is unlikely that I will create a different version of the CB 22 without a paying customer. With a commitment, I am all over it. It can be ready when or before you are. Thanks again for your service and stay safe.

Makes sense... Will follow up with you down the road. BTW, the pics of the finished 19 on your site look great.

cdre, I too was looking at this idea over the past summer. So next thing i know i have a 1977 seaswirl 19ft cuddy cabin and out came the chainsaw. Bow decking was cutout, dual consoles cut out and the carolina flares have been framed in and ply'd. In response to gonzo i was lucky enough to have found a boat with steep enough angles to make the flare possible. only about a 1.5ft increase in freeboard at its highest point. But yea so it is possible just a PAIN IN THE A***. If you find a good boat and you decide to do it do the whole thing in cardboard and tape... makes it a whole lot cheaper too next step is to add the teak as im trying to go off the same cb 19 design. new member so when i get a chance ill put up the pics... next step is the flooring haha fun

Chainsaw boat construction. I love it. I once put a side door in my house that way. I was just praying there were no pipes and wires. Went ok. Had to look like something out of Hollywood. Suddenly a 30" chainsaw bar comes popping though the wall! Anyway... Copying the CB 19 eh? Well, they say it's the best flattery. Good luck. For those those who want to take a slightly less adventurous route, just give us a call. Marc ================== www.cb-boatworks.com

| You are multiple posting this issue. It makes it confusing for everyone.

sorry about any confusion.... created a new post in the fiberglass section since I figured it had become more of a modification/repair topic than a "design" topic...
