All with all, acts of piracy increase each year. IMO announced that piracy related activities as well as outright acts of hostilities against commercial traffic and yachts have increased considerably along the horn of Africa i.e. Somalia.
Privateers armed with heavy machineguns and mortars are now attacking all kind of ships if they look like an easy prey.
Time is getting close that we use AMC's to do away with that pesitilence. Are the times coming back that we need to equip the merchant vessels with armament?
