Well, that is not very component of him to leave such an important calculation to you, when you ahve no experience, nor guidance how to do it!

You need to familiarise yourself with the basics of structures and moments of inertia, first, otherwise anything i explain or suggest you probably wont understand, and you'll ask more basic questions.
