| That sounds quite rugged, but why is the deck wooden, not steel? And is there just a roof, no walls? |

| 8x4 Pontoon Richard the pontoon is a simple craft. the deck must be fiber glass reinforced marine ply wood, this combines strength with weight. steel would add to the weight. there is a 5.5 x 4 roof section complete with roll down sides. this will be of light weight construction. my concern is do you have any experience with a craft of this size and design. i believe it will float nicely and have strength? Regards Arthur |
