| 70s Sea Ray SRV 240 Outdrive questions I have a quired an 70s model Sea ray SRV 240 24 ft. Weekender that is in great shape, except the engine and outdrive are missing. The boat other than that is mint. It had the OMC settup in it with the large square boot. I found a rebuilt combo engine and drive complete, this unit has the long shaft. Is this the right one that came wit the boat? Now i know OMC is a dinosaur but that is what it had and I do not wish to break the bank to change powerplants. Just need to know if this long shaft is what I need? Thanks Steve |

| I bought a new 24' Searay in 1978 with an OMC outdrive and Ford V8 engine. As best I recall it was along shaft. The shaft sheared off cleanly when I hit a submerged log. |
