| Well worth reading the Half Pea thread on the link. Though I don't doubt that we all understand the issues with such a tiny boat, and Steve makes it particularly clear with the work he has done, Hannu took the jokey idea, and as a way of exploring the limits, developed, built and tested it seriously. He writes lightly and eloquently about the issues, including the leg yoga issues, catching crabs (British expression? When you 'fluff' a stroke rowing), (wonder if toe straps would help both issues?) and the philosophy behind doing something so clearly 'impractical', whatever that means. What about sailing coracles? ![]() Of course, if you abandoned the depth limitation, and stretched it a wee bit, you could probably cross the Atlantic... ![]() ![]() By the way, Which end do you have the taps on a bathtub? stem or stern? |

| Bathtub. Taps on the stern to mount the rudder. No, No, Taps on the bow to mount the bowsprit and the asymetrical spinaker. That way you can lay back in comfort just like when you read a book in the bath. Comfy. |
