What is a yard BULL ? With a travellift, it would be dangerous and foolhardy to strap and lift a structurally damaged, flooded boat. The pointloading of the straps and the geometry of the lift could further damage the boat.

No travellift operator lifts a damaged boat in one pull, you fool.

It is lifted just to WL and pumped out before getting it out further.

If I were in your shoes, I would listen to Ad HocĀ“s advice. He is the one here who knows the business of Al boats design and construction.

Now that I see the pictures it might work just as well to take accurate measurements of the hull and make it as symmetrical as practical. That is since it is a motor cruiser, all that would matter is that it track straight and all the surfaces fair without waviness or abrupt transitions.

It is important to carefully inspect for all the damage, and it be repaired to make sure the rebuilt hull is both durable and safe.

    Good luck.
