| 1957 Glastron Fireflite I just found this old glastron Fireflite and plan on restoring it to near original. I have many questions but I will start with the fiberglass bottom. The bottom feels weak and I feel like if I stood up in the boat I would fall thru. I'm thinking I was going to do some fiberglass repair around the transom to strengthen it up, should I do the same to the interior floor to give it more strength? I have never restored a boat before but have done a few classic cars. any advice or input from other early model glastron owners would be great. |
