Why do you not want a typical bronze seacock? Corrioson?

Have you considered a reinforced nylon / Marelon seacock?

I have yet to see an alum. valve. If you use bronze you have to COMPLETLY insulate it from the alum. I would go with the plastic.

You don't need to insulate the seacock from the hull if there is proper anodic protection. Outdrives and outboards.have aluminum housings and the trim cylinders, pivot pins, shafts and other parts are stainless. They have no corrosion problems with proper care and mainteinance. It is mandatory to have metal valves bellow the waterline.
