Transom thickness for outboard motor 100 to 250 hp

I am looking for specifications of transom thickness for 100 to 250 outboard motor, where can I get these informations?

You could supply us with more info (what your boat is made of) or , see "Elements of Boat Strength" by David Gerr. It is an inexpensive and very good book.

All outboards are built for a standard transom of 1 2/2" to 1 7/8" thickness.
