Thinking of the Swift Solo Skiff The Swift Solo Looks like a beautiful boat and is sposed to be quite fast too. Anyone here built or sailed one of them? If Im going to spend the winter to build I want a good looking but fast boat to sail. Anyone got anything on them? I found the site at www.swiftsolo.org

I'm building one. You have the right website. They do have a list server that you could see who is building one near you and go check it out. I presently have someone that comes over to lend a hand who is planning on building one.

Woodie, Where are you located? We have 3 underway in New Jersey. I just got started on my build, with another who is sharing a shop with me. The third is well into the process, hull complete and now well into stripping the deck. If you have any questions, or are close drop me a line. ( al at loft42.com) As for other resources, you should have a look at http://nycskiffs.org/ Al
