"Doubling the swage does far more than double the reliablilty of the sleeve--- and tripling it (for another couple of dollars) would produce an unbelievably reliable terminal."

I was always taught this was a bad practice. With one swage properly installed you have the design spec, and the loop and load wire are evenly loaded. I think the concern is that with additional swages the strands between the line and the loop may not load evenly, not sure why that is a problem for the terminal swage but it apparently is worse than using only one.
