    Hi everyone,

I'm looking for the plans for the Steve Redmond 'Whisp' it seems Mr. Redmond has gone quietly into the night along with all his plans. Does anyone have a copy somewhere in the back of the closet, under the bed, fading on the book shelves?

IF not can someone recommend a substitute .. 3 or 4 strakes for simplicity .. maybe bolger has such a design ?

    HOpe you can help ;)

Nevermind, apparently the plans are detailed in Tom Hill's ultralight boatbuilding book

    Thanks,

    Paddy

  3. Whisp Plans Available Again

Hi just wanted to correct this reference.

Whisp plans are indeed available through:

    www.sredmond.com.

Or, for postal inquiries, the mailing address is:

    Steve Redmond
    4640 Guilford Center Rd.
    Guilford, VT 05301

Also as a point of information, Whisp and its construction is NOT detailed in Thomas Hill's book, "Ultralight Boatbuilding." The boat illustrated there is another design, Flapjack. Please note, offsets and dimensions for Flapjack are NOT included in the book, it is simply illustrated for the purposes of boatbuilding instruction. Full construction plans for construction of this boat are available from the above address.

    Best Regards,

    Steve Redmond
