| Sail rig hardware? hej! I recently saw a very well restored sail yacht from 1890, and they had used sail hardware that had a very light golden color. The shackles etc looked like stainless steel, but they had a very light golden shade to them... any idea what metal this might be, or some special process to give this color to steel? where can I buy hardware with that subtle golden color? Thanks for any tips. kris |

| It could be silver bronze or Monel.

| I believe all the bronze sail slides are a silver alloy. Try Wilcox Critteden or Jamestown Distributors.
